Beau Haygood

Saxophone Instructor

Beau Haygood is a saxophone instructor in the Portland Metro Area. He maintains his own private lesson studio, works with multiple middle and high schools saxophone sections, and coaches chamber music at the Portland Youth Philharmonic. Beau is currently performing with the Portland Saxophone Ensemble and the Southwest Washington Wind Symphony.

Born and raised in California, he holds a degree from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music in Saxophone Performance where he studied with David Henderson. In his 20 years of playing the saxophone he has toured with saxophone quartets, performed on the main stage of multiple NASA conferences, and participated in masterclasses led by the H2 Quartet and Joe Lulloff. Beau is a passionate music educator who is excited to usher in the next generation of young musicians.
