2019 WOODWINDS @ WALLOWA LAKE – JULY 21-27, 2019


NOTE: Due to high interest, saxophone students are being accepted on a wait list basis. All other instruments are still being accepted for registration without wait list. If you are a saxophone student and you want to be placed on the wait list, please register; we will contact you if space opens.


The goal of Woodwinds @ Wallowa Lake is to provide a high quality chamber music camp for middle and high school woodwind players.

What: Experience 7 days of intense professional instruction with members of the  Oregon Symphony Orchestra and other professionals. Camp includes theory & music history, student performances and FUN in the heart of the Wallowa Mountains.

When: July 21-27, 2019

Where: Wallowa Lake Methodist Youth Camp

How Much:
 $550.00 per camper (Students may attend both Brass and Woodwind Camps for $935.)

How: For cases of extreme need, ask about scholarship opportunities

What We Do…

A day at Camp includes:

  • Master Class Ensembles of like instruments

  • Music Theory at a level that fits the student

  • Music History

  • Mixed Woodwind Ensemble master class

  • Recreation & Activities may include hiking, paddle boating, canoeing, horseback riding, miniature golfing, group games and team work exercises

  • Supervised Individual Practice

  • Dancers, Drummers and Dreamers (c)

  • Good Eating!!!

Two-Camp Special:
Attend BOTH camps for just $935!  This offer is great if you play a woodwind instrument and brass instrument, or if you play French Horn.
